Contracts & Agreements

Drafting, review and negotiation that protects you before a dispute has a chance to begin.

A contract earns its fee on the day something goes wrong. We draft and review with that day in mind: clear obligations, workable exit routes, and remedies that can actually be enforced rather than ones that merely sound firm.

We work across commercial, employment, technology and property agreements, and we are equally willing to tell you that a document you have been handed is fine as it stands.

What’s included

  • Plain-English summary of what you are agreeing to
  • Risk-flagged markup with recommended positions
  • Negotiation support, in writing or on the call
  • Reusable templates for agreements you sign often
  • Signature, stamping and execution guidance

How it runs

  1. Send the document

Share the draft and tell us what commercial outcome you need from it.

  2. Review and flag

You get a marked-up version plus a short note on the three or four terms that genuinely matter.

  3. Negotiate

We propose alternative language and, where useful, deal directly with the counterparty's counsel.

  4. Execute cleanly

Final version, execution formalities and a filed copy you can find again in two years.

Common questions

How quickly can you turn around a review?

A standard commercial agreement is usually back with you within two business days. Tell us if you are against a deadline and we will say honestly whether we can meet it.

Will you review a contract someone else drafted?

Frequently. Reviewing the other side's draft is often the highest-value hour a client spends with us.

Do you provide templates we can reuse?

Yes, for agreements you issue repeatedly. We will also show your team where a template stops being appropriate and a bespoke document is needed.

Ready to talk about Contracts & Agreements?

A 30-minute consultation is usually enough to establish where you stand and what it will take.
