- Reduced-motion adaptation. In accordance with user operating system preferences for reduced motion, video backgrounds are automatically disabled and replaced with still dark imagery, and layout transitions are suppressed;
- Responsive reflow. Layouts reflow fluidly from 320 pixels width upwards without horizontal scrolling or loss of content upon text magnification up to two hundred percent;
- Form field accessibility. Every input field incorporates a persistent visible label, explicit programmatic associations, and accessible text error descriptions; and
- Absence of timed sessions. Public content imposes no countdowns, timeouts, or time-restricted reading limits.
3. Internal assessment methodology
3.1 Accessibility compliance has been evaluated internally through automated linting engines, manual keyboard-only navigation protocols, contrast ratio validation, and screen reader simulation. It has not been subjected to formal third-party audit.
3.2 We record this qualification transparently, maintaining that honest disclosure of testing methodologies provides authentic assurance to users.
4. Known limitations and operational mitigations
4.1 We acknowledge the following technical constraints and provide corresponding mitigations:
- Background visual elements. Background motion video is darkened to preserve readability; enabling reduced-motion in operating system settings immediately substitutes a still image;
- Regulatory disclaimer strip. The non-modal disclaimer banner occupies screen real estate on mobile devices until dismissed; it does not trap focus and permits full page interaction; and
- External documentation. Third-party judicial orders or gazette notifications linked for reference may not fully comply with accessibility formatting; alternative transcriptions shall be furnished upon request.
5. Direct remediation and alternative format provision
5.1 If you encounter an accessibility barrier on any portion of this website, please communicate with us at work@standinglawyers.com with the subject line Accessibility Remediation Request, specifying the relevant URL, the barrier encountered, and the assistive technology deployed.
5.2 Standing Lawyers will acknowledge your communication within three working days and provide a substantive technical resolution within ten working days.
5.3 Irrespective of the timeline for software correction, the firm will promptly provide the requested information in an accessible alternative format, including accessible text, large print, or telephonic communication, within two working days of your request.
5.4 If an accessibility concern remains unresolved, you may file a formal grievance under our Grievance Redressal Policy.
Effect, review and contact
A This Accessibility Statement takes effect on 11 October 2026 and supersedes every earlier version published on this website. The version published on this page constitutes the operative regulatory instrument at any given point in time.
B Standing Lawyers reviews this Accessibility Statement at least annually, and forthwith upon any amendment to applicable statutes, subordinate rules, regulatory notifications, or firm operational systems. Where an amendment is material, formal notice shall be published on this page, and where the amendment concerns personal data in respect of which contact particulars are maintained, direct notification shall be transmitted.
