2. Binding covenant and unilateral amendment

2.2 Standing Lawyers reserves the unilateral right to modify, amend, or replace these Terms of Use at any time by publishing the amended instrument on this page. 4. Limited revocable license
4.1 Standing Lawyers grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and personal license to access this platform and view, download, or print individual articles for personal evaluation or internal organizational reference.
4.2 This license explicitly excludes commercial exploitation, systematic aggregation, and redistribution. Any unauthorized usage automatically terminates this license without notice.
5. Prohibited activities and automated scraping restrictions
5.1 Users shall not, directly or indirectly, engage in any of the following restricted activities:
- access or utilize the website in contravention of any applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, or applicable subordinate rules;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any server, database, worker script, or cloud infrastructure hosting this website through hacking, credential attacks, or injection exploits;
- probe, scan, or audit the vulnerability of the website infrastructure, or bypass any cryptographic or authentication mechanism without prior written authorization;
- introduce or propagate viruses, trojan horses, logic bombs, ransomware, or other technologically deleterious components;
- subject this platform to any denial-of-service, distributed denial-of-service, or network-flooding attack;
- deploy any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, or automated script to extract, compile, or mirror content, provided that public search engines may crawl content in strict conformity with our published robots directives;
- utilize any content, text, data, or structural assets appearing on this website to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or ground any artificial intelligence model, large language model, neural network, or automated analytical algorithm without prior written consent;
- frame, mirror, replicate, or systematically re-publish any substantive portion of this website;
- delete, obscure, or alter any statutory copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice; or
- transmit through any web form any unsolicited commercial promotion, defamatory assertion, infringing material, or offensive communication.
5.2 Any contravention of Clause 5.1 may result in immediate revocation of access and referral to appropriate law enforcement agencies under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
6. Edge security and rate-limiting architecture
6.1 The digital infrastructure incorporates edge-based rate limiting, honeypot validation fields, and cryptographic IP verification deployed via Cloudflare Workers to prevent denial-of-service attacks and automated submission abuse.
6.2 In the event that automated security controls inadvertently impede a legitimate submission, users should communicate directly with the firm via email at the address specified in Clause 13.
7. User submissions and verification covenants
7.1 Users submitting details through enquiry or application forms warrant that all information provided is accurate, current, and that they possess lawful authorization to disclose any third-party personal data contained therein.
7.2 Submissions are persisted securely within Cloudflare D1 distributed databases and dispatched via Resend transactional email. The Privacy Policy sets out the data retention schedule in full.
7.3 Users must not submit confidential debt ledgers, bank statements, Permanent Account Numbers, or sensitive documents through general contact forms. Clause 5 of the Disclaimer applies.
8. Intellectual property and trademark rights
8.1 All intellectual property rights in the website and its constituent content are vested exclusively in Standing Lawyers or its licensors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. The mark Standing Lawyers and the column design are subject to pending Class 45 registrations.
8.2 Nothing herein grants any proprietary title or commercial license to any user. Any use outside Clause 4 requires prior written sanction.
8.3 In the event of an intellectual property grievance, formal notice detailing the proprietary right and alleged infringement should be dispatched to the email specified in Clause 13.
9. System availability and operational disclaimers
9.1 This platform is provided on an as-available basis. We warrant neither continuous availability, nor uninterrupted service, nor the rectification of minor defects.
9.2 Standing Lawyers reserves the absolute right to modify, suspend, or withdraw any feature, page, or service description without prior intimation.
10. External hyperlinked services
10.1 External hyperlinks are included for navigational convenience only. We exercise no supervisory control over external platforms and assume no liability for their operations or data practices.
11. Indemnity and limitation of liability
11.1 The comprehensive limitation of liability set forth in Clause 12 of the Disclaimer is incorporated herein by reference as if set out in full.
11.2 You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Standing Lawyers, its proprietor, and associated advocates against all claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your violation of these Terms of Use or applicable law.
12. Severability and governing law
12.1 In the event that any provision of these Terms of Use is adjudicated to be unlawful or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed without affecting the validity of remaining provisions.
12.2 Failure or delay in enforcing any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other right.
12.3 These Terms of Use are governed by the substantive laws of India, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan.

B Standing Lawyers reviews this Terms of Use at least annually, and forthwith upon any amendment to applicable statutes, subordinate rules, regulatory notifications, or firm operational systems. Where an amendment is material, formal notice shall be published on this page, and where the amendment concerns personal data in respect of which contact particulars are maintained, direct notification shall be transmitted.
C All formal communications, statutory notices, and grievances arising out of or in connection with this Terms of Use must be addressed to work@standinglawyers.com, marked for the attention of the Grievance Officer where the communication constitutes a formal complaint.
