These terms govern your use of the StandingLawyers website. By using the site you accept them. They do not govern any professional engagement with us, which is set out separately in an engagement letter.
The site is information, not advice
Everything on this website is general information. It is not legal advice, it is not a substitute for advice on your circumstances, and you should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of it. Using this site, including submitting the contact form, does not create a lawyer–client relationship.
No engagement until confirmed in writing
We take on a matter only after we have completed our conflict checks and confirmed the engagement and its scope in writing. Until then, please do not send us confidential material and do not assume any deadline in your matter is being managed by us.

- Do not use the site unlawfully or in a way that interferes with its operation or with other users.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems.
- Do not copy, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the content without our written permission.
