Legal Associate

The Position

Lead distressed debt recovery, NRRA assignment structuring, and insolvency receivables files from intake to resolution. You will draft statutory demand notices, examine debtor ledgers, formulate settlement deeds, and coordinate court enforcements.

Scope of Work

1. 01Analyze corporate debtor ledgers, assess limitation periods, and verify underlying contractual documentation
2. 02Draft formal statutory demand notices under Section 138 NI Act, Section 8 IBC, and commercial breach covenants
3. 03Assist Liquidators and Resolution Professionals in reconciling book debts and drafting Section 19(2) and avoidance petitions
4. 04Draft One-Time Settlement (OTS) compromise deeds and judicial Consent Terms
5. 05Coordinate with external litigation counsel across commercial courts, DRTs, and High Courts

Qualifications

• LL.B. degree and active Bar Council enrollment
• Demonstrated drafting precision and understanding of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, CPC, and Limitation Act
• Experience handling commercial disputes, banking recovery, or insolvency matters
• Comfortable conducting direct client and debtor dialogues with professional rigor
